What artwork works best for a Half Body Pillow?

1. What is a Custom Half Body Pillow With Hole?
A Custom Half Body Pillow With Hole is a compact 40 × 60 cm pillow designed for upper-body or waist-up character artwork. You can customize the front and back with your own images, choose your preferred fabric, and select compatible pillow-inner or accessory options.
2. What size is the Half Body Pillow?
The finished pillow measures approximately 40 × 60 cm. It is significantly smaller than a traditional full-size dakimakura, making it easier to store, handle and use in smaller spaces.
3. How is it different from a full-size dakimakura?
A traditional dakimakura is usually designed around full-body character artwork and commonly measures around 50 × 150 cm or larger. The 40 × 60 cm Half Body Pillow uses a much more compact format designed primarily for upper-body, waist-up or closely framed artwork.

4. What kind of artwork works best?
High-resolution, vertical artwork with a clearly visible face and upper body usually works best. For the best result, choose artwork with some extra background space around the character so important details are not too close to the edges.
5. Will my full-body image be cropped?
Possibly. Because the Half Body Pillow uses a shorter 40 × 60 cm format, a full-body character image may need to be cropped or repositioned to create a suitable layout. We prioritize the face, upper body and other important character details when preparing the layout.
6. Can I upload different images for the front and back?
Yes. You can upload one image for the front and a different image for the back. If you prefer, you may also use the same artwork on both sides.
7. Will you check my image before printing?
Yes. Your uploaded artwork is reviewed before production for the general layout, image quality and whether important details fit properly within the printable area.
8. What if my image is low resolution?
Upload the highest-quality version you have available. If the image appears too small, blurry or heavily compressed for the intended print size, it may need adjustment or a higher-resolution replacement before production.

9. Which fabric should I choose?
2WAY Fabric is a good all-around choice if you want a smooth surface, high stretch and detailed anime artwork reproduction. Other fabrics may offer different textures, softness levels or price points. Choose based on whether you prioritize print detail, stretch, softness or overall feel.
10. Is the pillow inner included?
The pillow inner is included only when you select an option that specifically includes it. If you select a cover-only option, the pillow inner is not included. Please check your selected product option before adding the custom pillow to your cart.
11. Are accessories included?
Accessories are separate unless they are specifically included in the option or bundle you select. Compatible pillow inners and other accessories may be added separately during customization or from the accessories section.

12. Is my uploaded artwork private?
The images you upload are used only to prepare and produce your custom order. They will not be used for any other purpose.
13. Is the packaging discreet?
Your order is shipped in privacy packaging. The outer packaging bag will not display any visible or identifying markings. Please order with confidence.
14. How long does custom production take?
Custom production time can vary because your artwork needs to be reviewed, prepared, printed and sewn before shipment. Please contact us for the current production estimate before ordering. Shipping time is separate and depends on your destination and shipping method.
