What is a Double Layer Dakimakura?
A Double Layer Dakimakura is a body pillow with two printed covers. The outer cover is what you see when it is closed. A hidden zipper opens onto a second artwork layer. It is a layered print, not an accessory opening.
Two covers, one pillow
Closed, the outer cover looks like a regular dakimakura. The zipper stays hidden in the outer layer. Open it and a second printed cover is underneath, so the pillow can show a different design.

Standard cover or double layer
A standard dakimakura is one printed cover around the pillow. Double layer adds a second printed cover under the zipper. Both are still a long rectangular dakimakura, not a split-leg shape and not a molded 3D piece.

The zipper is there to reach the inner artwork. It does not, by itself, mean the pillow has an accessory opening. Oppai and butt pieces are separate accessories. The custom double-layer listing says the inner cover is meant to work with those pieces, and the fit can vary by model. Check that product before you assume a piece is included.

Hand feel and how fine lines print both change with the fabric. Compare them on the fabric guide, then follow the care guide. Open the zipper gently, and let every layer dry before you store the pillow.
Artwork for a custom cover
A ready-made pillow already has its artwork. For a custom double layer, the custom product and the custom studio list the upload fields. Those fields cover the outer layer and the inner layer, including front and back when they are offered. That is up to four artwork surfaces. You can repeat one image in more than one field if it fits the print area.

The design people see when the zipper is closed. Use the front and back fields the studio shows for that layer.
Inner layer
The design under the zipper. It can be a different picture from the outside. The inner artwork on these listings is adult artwork.
We review the files before printing. If a file is too soft, we email you before production. The on-screen preview is a layout view, not a separate printed proof, unless support confirms one for that order. This pillow is for people 18 and older. Questions
What does double layer mean?
An outer printed cover, plus a second printed cover reached through a hidden zipper. Opening the zipper shows the inner design.
Is this the same as a pillow with a hole?
No. Full-body and half-body pillows with a hole are a different construction. Double layer means two printed layers. It does not automatically include an accessory opening.
How many images does a custom cover need?
Use the fields on the custom page. Outer and inner layers can each have a front and a back. One image can be reused if it fits the print area.
Which size and fabric can I choose?
On the custom listing: 40×120, 50×150, 50×160, or 60×180 cm, in New 2WAY, 2WAY, Peach Skin, or Plush. Ready-made products show their own size.
Are chest or butt accessories included?
No. They are separate products in accessories. The custom listing describes which pieces the inner cover is meant to work with. Fit varies by model.
How do I wash it?
Follow the care guide for the fabric you chose. Open the zipper gently, and dry both layers before storage.
