CHOOSE YOUR FABRIC
Explore two stretch fabric options for the anime pillow cover. Compare their listed feel, flexibility, and printed finish to find the right option for you.

Smoother · Elastic
Choose New 2WAY if you prefer the smoother feel listed for this product. The actual texture, stretch, and printed result depend on the supplied fabric and cover construction.

Soft · Elastic · Classic Feel
A smooth, stretchable fabric option for anime pillow covers. Its flexible knit structure is designed to fit around the shaped cover and provide a comfortable finish.

| Option | Standard | Alternative option |

| Flexibility | Stretch fabric; fit depends on the pattern and material batch | Stretch fabric; compare actual stretch and recovery with a sample |
| Printed finish | Review a printed sample for color and fine detail | Review a printed sample for color and fine detail |
| Best suited to | A balanced standard fabric option | Customers who prefer the smoother feel listed for this option |
New 2WAY is a supplier-specific fabric name, not a universal material grade. Fabric composition, weight, thickness, stretch, recovery, and print performance can vary. Please use confirmed supplier specifications and samples when comparing the two options.
This product lists 2WAY as Soft · Elastic and New 2WAY as Smoother · Elastic. Exact fabric properties depend on the supplied material, so compare confirmed specifications or samples.
The right choice depends on verified stretch, recovery, and compatibility with the shaped cover pattern. Either option should be assessed with the actual cover construction and a sample.

MATERIAL & MOLDING
Natural latex is formed through a vacuum-foaming process. It is a natural material rather than a perfectly uniform industrial foam, so small molding variations can occur.

After foaming and demolding, air trapped in the mold may leave small pits, internal air pockets, or tear-like marks. These can be natural characteristics of latex foam and do not by themselves indicate a quality defect.
Small vents allow air to escape so latex can fill the mold cavities. A little latex may rise through a vent and leave a tiny surface nub, sometimes called a “pimple.” This is a normal molding mark and does not by itself affect normal use.
Surface appearance alone cannot verify material composition. Please refer to the product material information, and contact customer support if a mark affects the structure or use of the core.
Common questions about the molded core, the opening channel, size and care.
A standard dakimakura is a flat, elongated pillow with a fabric cover. This pillow has a molded, dimensional latex core with a built-in opening channel, covered by a shaped, removable printed cover.
The molded core is natural latex. Vacuum-foamed latex can show small pits, air pockets, mold lines or tiny surface marks; these are normal for the material and do not affect use.
The pillow measures approximately 58 × 31 × 18 cm, and the pillowcase is 40 × 60 cm. The latex core weighs approximately 3,000 g.
The opening diameter is approximately 8 cm. Check the dimensions of your insert before use. Inserts are sold separately unless they are included in the option you select.
That depends on the option you select above. Cover-only options include the printed pillowcase without the core.
2WAY and New 2WAY are stretch fabrics that follow the curves of the core. New 2WAY has a smoother hand feel; 2WAY is the balanced standard choice.
Clean the core gently and evenly by hand, then let it dry completely in a cool, well-ventilated place away from direct sun and heat. Wash the removable cover according to its fabric care.
Store the core in a cool, dry place. Do not fold it or place heavy items on it, as pressure and creasing may deform the shape. Remove and clean any insert after use.

A short map of the constructions. The buying guide compares them in more detail.
It is an anime body pillow, also called a dakimakura, built in a specific construction. The range includes split-leg, double-layer, full-body with an opening, half-body with an opening, and 3D latex. Features change by product.
The main styles are Split Leg, Double Layer, Full Body with a hole, Half Body with a hole, and 3D Latex. Each one has its own shape.
The lower half is shaped into separated legs instead of one rectangle. It needs an insert made for that shape. Read the split-leg page for the three fillings.
There is a printed outer layer and a second artwork layer under a zipper. Opening the zipper shows the inner design. It is a layered print, not an accessory opening. The double-layer guide shows the construction, sizes, and fabrics.
It keeps the long dakimakura shape and adds an opening in the construction. Whether an accessory fits depends on that product. Check the product page before you assume a piece is included. The full-body guide shows the size, cores, and opening.
A compact pillow, commonly 40×60 cm, with an opening at the bottom. It suits upper-body artwork and takes less space than a full-length cover. The half-body guide shows the size, cores, and opening.
It is a molded shape, not a flat printed cover. Weight, parts, and care differ from a fabric dakimakura. Follow the notes on that product. The 3D latex guide shows the core, cover, and care.
The size guide has the full comparison. These answers cover the usual choice.
The size guide lists 40×60, 40×120, 50×150, 50×160, and 60×180 cm. Which ones you can order depends on the construction.
50×150 is the classic length and is easier to place in a smaller room. 50×160 adds length. Match the size to the bed, the artwork, and the insert.
The half-body style uses the compact 40×60 cm format from the size guide.
Not always. Some listings are a cover only. Others offer PP cotton or an inflatable insert. Read the options on the product and in the cart before you pay.
PP cotton feels like a soft stuffed pillow. An inflatable insert is lighter, packs down when deflated, and the firmness changes with how much air you add.
Those two shapes are for the split-leg pillow. Pick the one that matches the cover. They are not a substitute for each other.
No. A split-leg cover needs an insert built for the separated legs, in the same size as the cover.
Start in the custom studio. This section covers the usual questions, not every upload control.
Yes. Choose the construction, size, and fabric, then upload your artwork. The studio previews the front and back before you send it for an artwork check.
You choose the construction and options, upload the files, and we review them for print. Production then follows the same 2–5 day estimate used for other orders, unless that product says otherwise.
Yes, when the studio shows separate front and back uploads. Use the fields on the page so you know how many files that construction asks for.
A double-layer cover has an outer layer and an inner layer. The studio lists the upload fields for that build, including inner and outer sides when they are offered. You can repeat one image in more than one field if it fits the print area.
A sharp, vertical file prints more cleanly than a small or blurry one. If the file is too soft, the artwork check may ask for a clearer version. Not every low-resolution image can be saved.
Yes. The custom order includes an artwork check. If the file needs a change, we email you before production. The on-screen preview is a layout view, not a separate printed proof, unless support confirms one for that order.
Compare them on the fabric guide. Availability still depends on the product.
New 2WAY, 2WAY Tricot, Peach Skin, and Plush. Not every construction offers all four.
Both are stretch fabrics used for body-pillow covers. Feel, thickness, and finish are not identical. The fabric guide is the comparison. Use a 2WAY-style fabric when you want stretch and a smooth surface.
A soft, lightly brushed surface with less stretch than a typical 2WAY fabric.
A raised, fuzzy surface. It feels different from the smooth finish of 2WAY.
A smooth fabric usually shows fine lines more clearly. The file, the print, and the material all affect the result. Use the photos on the fabric guide before you choose.
Steps by fabric are on the care guide. These answers are the short version.
Most removable covers can be washed. The method depends on the fabric. Gentle hand washing in cool water is the safe default. Follow the care guide for the fabric you bought.
Only if that fabric’s care notes allow it. When they do, use a delicate cycle, a mild detergent, and a laundry bag.
Do not use a dryer unless the care notes for that fabric allow it. Air dry, away from strong sun and high heat.
No. PP cotton and inflatable inserts are not washed like a printed cover. Read the insert’s own notes before it gets wet.
Clean the latex piece and the cover by their own instructions. Skip harsh chemicals, high heat, and long time in direct sun. Everything should be dry before you store it.

Add 2–5 days of processing first. After that, usual transit is 7–20 business days for the United States, Canada, and Europe; 10–30 for Australia and New Zealand; 15–30 for Central and South America; 3–20 for Asia; and 15–45 for Africa.
Orders are grouped every three days and sent for production. Production is estimated at 2–5 days. Transit starts after that and is not included in the 2–5 days.
